Sunday, April 5th, 2009: Paper History - How it came to be, its uses and some of the promises written on it.

 

Sunday, January 4th, 2009: Greed and Gratitude.

 

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008: Magic is fun!  This session includes several magic demonstrations. The children hypothesize as to how the tricks are performed, followed by correct explanations (helps children understand reality).

 

Sunday, October 4th, 2008: Faces - An exploration of how we make up faces (gods) for things we fear or do not understand. The activity will be creating faces/puppets from paint brushes.

 

Sunday, September 7th, 2008: Gita, Krishna and Arjuna. 

 

 

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008: Barrier, what barrier? Making New Friends, featuring a reading of The Other Side by Jacqueline Woodson, illustrations by E.B. Lewis, followed by activities inspired by this uplifting children's story, including sharing friendship rituals from various cultures and times, playing jump rope and balancing contests.
